The house is perfectly located to visit the old town. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Can only recommend.

The Galle Fort Hotel began life as an 18th Century Dutch villa and along the way has taken many guises from RAF barracks, post office, bakery, lapidary and in the recent past a pitch for the Fort’s... Amazing staff, very efficient, friendly, helpful, make you feel at home. This 400 year old building was a truly once in a lifetime to live in. Everything is kept original and this is what makes this Hotel unique. Perfectly situated with the Fort precinct & easy access to all the amenities within the fort. The service is very personalized because the hotel has only 11 rooms.

It is the perfect location in the old town of Galle. I was surprised by the spacious room, its comfort, and all the amenities. the staff is very hospitable as everywhere in Sri Lanka. The building itself is fascinating, and you can feel it by the ambience and wooden stairs and floors, very well renovated and looks quite esthetic. If stay in Galle again I'd stop over at the Fort Printers - and google the history of the building and the Fort :)

We spent a week in the charming mansion Camellia, centrally and quietly located, a few minutes walk away from the beach and center. The building is a little hidden from the street and is surrounded by a blooming garden. The room with all amenities was spacious and quiet. Our host Paddy spoiled us with a delicious and varied breakfast, he showed us the eating habits of the country with the respective national dishes. His humor and knowledge of the country and its people was unique, he helped his guests and also us with reservations, excursions and transfers. We highly recommend this property and will book this accommodation again on our visit.

The guesthouse is right in front of the Dutch Fort and you can see the sea from the terrace. The room was cozy, the place was super clean. The Dutch market was a short walk from the guesthouse. I loved staying there and when I return to Galle which i will because I loved it, I'll make sure to stay here. Also a cute dog named Pirate is a bonus.

The views from the property were absolutely amazing! We could just hang out by the pool in the morning and watch the peacock and monkeys fool around which was a blast. The room was perfect with high ceilings, an abundance of natural sunlight (can shade if you want), and as clean as can be. The host and staff couldn’t have been more kind! They helped arrange rides, provided local dining options, activities to consider…pretty much you name it! The breakfast spread we had in the morning was, without question, the best we had during our trip! We couldn’t have been happier with the little time we were able to have there & we owe it all to the amazing people running it!!! ☺️

Excellent location - within the fort area and a short walk to all the main sights of Galle, nice views over green spaces and the ocean, a rooftop terrace with a good view of the sunset. A clean and spacious room with air con and fan. Beautiful home! We had the room with a terrace which was lovely. The place is run by such a kind family - we enjoyed chatting to the Grandfather and the Granddaughter.

Δίπλα στην παραλία Unawatuna, το Sergent House στεγάζεται σε μια boutique βίλα με αποικιακή αρχιτεκτονική που χρονολογείται από τη δεκαετία του 1800. There are not many properties where all points you can give are actually not enough, but the Sergeant House is such a place. We stayed in the 3-Bedroom-Villa with our kids and had a fantastic time. It’s literally impossible to say what we have enjoyed more, the attention given to us by the staff or the amazing property. We are definitely looking forward to repeat this experience again.

It's a really nice property with great staff and great service. It's relaxing to have a place like this out from the madness of the local town. Good food, too.
