Perfect stay! The Grand Apartment Suite was exceptionally comfortable and the staff were very patient and quick to accomodate to our requests. The cocktails were amazing and we loved having drinks on the hotel verandah in the evening, very picturesque. Breakfast items were yummy and the pool was very inviting.

We spent a week in the charming mansion Camellia, centrally and quietly located, a few minutes walk away from the beach and center. The building is a little hidden from the street and is surrounded by a blooming garden. The room with all amenities was spacious and quiet. Our host Paddy spoiled us with a delicious and varied breakfast, he showed us the eating habits of the country with the respective national dishes. His humor and knowledge of the country and its people was unique, he helped his guests and also us with reservations, excursions and transfers. We highly recommend this property and will book this accommodation again on our visit.

Adjacent to Unawatuna Beach, Sergent House is set in a boutique villa showcasing colonial architecture and originating in the 1800's. It is a three minute walk to the Unawatuna Beach and a 15 minute drive away from the historic 16th - 17th century Galle Fort. There are not many properties where all points you can give are actually not enough, but the Sergeant House is such a place. We stayed in the 3-Bedroom-Villa with our kids and had a fantastic time. It’s literally impossible to say what we have enjoyed more, the attention given to us by the staff or the amazing property. We are definitely looking forward to repeat this experience again.

Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. It really felt like going back in time; beautifully decorated by Geoffrey Bawa giving the typical tropical movement vibe. Very tranquil place, the garden is stunning, breakfast delicious and you have the luxury of the swimming pool and just a 5 minute walk away also the quiet beach. The train running through the garden only every once in a while makes it extra special. The noise never bothered me while I am a light sleeper (as of midnight until +/- 05:00 the train doesn't pas by anymore anyway). There are many guests who have been coming back for years. That already says enough. The staff is incredibly friendly. Absolutely loved it here, thank you for this special experience and truly hope to come back in the future!
