The room was spotless, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. A special thank you to Rumeshika, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. Her warmth and care truly made my stay memorable. Breakfast was delicious, and the location is perfect — right in the heart of Galle Fort yet so calm and quiet. Thank you for the hospitality and comfort — it was a lovely experience that I’ll always remember. Highly recommended! 💛

The Galle Fort Hotel began life as an 18th Century Dutch villa and along the way has taken many guises from RAF barracks, post office, bakery, lapidary and in the recent past a pitch for the Fort’s... The staff - every one of them - was wonderful, the location can’t be better and the hotel is super stylish and comfortable. We will be back!

It was a real treat to stay in a Bawa designed property. The garden and pool area was lovely and the restaurant and all the staff did a wonderful job.
