One of the most enchanting places on earth! Nihal took exceptional care of us from the very first moment. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and we felt warmly welcomed. The property, the garden, and the pool are truly magical. We enjoyed lunch and breakfast, and both meals were absolutely delicious. The chef Idika came personally to check in to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. The location is in Kandy, just a five-minute tuk-tuk ride from the city centre. The hotel also kindly offered to drive us back and forth. Overall, a five-star-plus experience.

The room was lovely, the breakfast was delicious (they make the best hoppers ever), and the owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Located amidst rolling green hills and the Madulkelle Tea Estate, this property offers tents with a terrace, a seating area, and en suite bathroom with hot/cold water. The location. The music the atmosphere, for those who want relax , the stuff are very nice and generous. There is wonderful garden and nice swimming pool. The area around nice for traveling and exploring.

Staff looked after us really well. Loved the hotel tuk tuk and Kandy Tours - with Austin. Definitely use this as more reliable and better than other tuk tuk. Continental breakfast was good. Chef makes delicious Sri Lankan food! This was in a great central location.

Good hotel with a good view. It was quite confortable and the perfect stay just a bit outside the center of Kandy.

The hotel is located on a hill, at first we were a little worried, as we were in our own car. But we got there well. The view from the room is wonderful, the food is delicious. There are basically four sides of it - the crazy hectic side with the train station and the caffes and tourists, the temple side with the world-famous temple of the tooth relic which is also quite busy due to all the visitors, the sightseeing empty promenade side and the far corner of the lake, where the views are great and tourists are few - the quiet side. This side is where the Settle In Lodge is at. It is about 10 minute walk to the temple or 15/20 min walk to the "center" of the town - very pleasant walk by the lakeshore, by the way. I thoroughly enjoyed walking back and forth and staying someplace quiet. The accommodation itself was basic but nice, the room was spacious, WiFi was probably the best I encountered in Sri Lanka, they had the breakfast option too (I did not book that). The landlord was a high energy cool guy who organized my pickup and drop off at fair price and the communication was fast and on point. Would definitely recommend this place for those wanting to stay on the quiet side of Kandy!

Located in Kandy, Amaya Hills, a leading 5-star hotel in Kandy, offers a hillside retreat overlooking the Heerassagala forest. I loved the attention of the restaurant staff, I didn’t like so much the reception staff on checkout, very pushy to write a review and took my phone to write her own and include names of staff that I didn’t recognize.
