Truly a dreamy spot with an incredible, direct view of Lion Rock one of the best you can find in Sigiriya. The room was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and attentive, everything was clean, and the food was genuinely good. A perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and wake up to one of the most iconic views in Sri Lanka. Highly recommended.

A garden view, air conditioning, and an en suite with a rain-style shower or a bath are standard in all rooms. Dambulla Rock Arch extras include a desk, bed linen, and towels. What a marvelous find! Utterly charming accommodation just off the main road, but open to farmland at the back and surrounded by a lovely garden. You would never guess you are in the centre of a busy town. The rooms are probably the best we stayed in during our trip (including much more expensive hotels). Lovely comfortable bed with mosquito net tent. There is a separate kitchen area with a small fridge, kettle and tea/coffee supplies and plates and cutlery. There is also a space with a luggage rack and place to hang clothes. The bathroom is large with premium fittings and hot water. There is a nice terrace with chairs out front and even a little yard at the back with a washing line. The breakfast area is so lovely, partially open with a fish pond. And the breakfast was superb. Beautifully home cooked Sri Lankan food, with European options too. The family are very sweet and helpful and arranged a tour to Sigiriya, followed by an elephant safari at Minneriya. Absolutely wonderful. No hesitation in recommending this lovely place.
