It’s perfect, the nature around it is amazing. The food delicous. And the staff is extraordinary friendly and helpfull! Special thanks to Praveen, who tried to make our stay as convenient as possible!

Beautiful place. Isolated from the town but the location is beautiful. You can ride bike around the rice field and lake. If you’re lucky see an elephant.
The woman at the elephant centre was very nice and we learnt a lot! I am glad we stop for a chat.
The diner experience was amazing! We booked the traditional diner with 27 dishes cooked traditionally in clay pot and open fire.
I recommend this hotel!

We had a wonderful time while staying at this beautiful gem retreat hidden in the forest. First off, a sincere thank you to the staff and manager Nimal at Wild Grass for accommodating our late arrival in the evening and dinner arrangement. The hospitality of the staff is beyond our expectation. The Villa we stayed was contemporary, modern and spacious with surrounding glass interiors that let us feel so close to nature. Since the time we arrived there, the staff attended to all our requirements instantly. The service was just outstanding and the food was very tasty.
We were so sad that we didn’t have time to extend our stay at this resort by a few more nights, but we will undoubtedly return for a longer stay the next time. Such a beautiful, serene, and peaceful setting for a vacation.
With its sprawling grounds and natural environment, a quiet escape awaits guests at Sigiriana Resort by Thilanka. It offers an outdoor pool.

Everything was perfect - the main mansion house is gorgeous, our pool villa was massive and nuzzled in a lovely quiet party of the estate where we benefitted from privacy and the sounds of the nature around us.
Food was fantastic as was service. We went on an amazing horse ride into the lake, our guide took the best pictures!

One of the most beautifully designed and located places we’ve stayed. Incredible. At first was sceptical of buffet style food, but the chefs are cooking fresh infront of you, with amazing results we loved it. Especially egg hoppers at breakfast! Seeing the monkeys and other wildlife also a highlight along with the stunning views.
This hotel is absolutely amazing. The staff, the setting, the spacious and comfortable designed rooms, the gardens and the swimming pool especially makes it a special place to stay. Very peaceful environment.

The property is very close to Dambulla, but still in a very quiet place surrounded by the nature.
The room was big, comfortable and well designed and furnished.
The food was excellent too and the people working there has been lovely!
A shame we only spent one night there.

Aliya is a really beautiful resort, with a great design inside and throughout the grounds. Our room felt luxurious and comfortable and we loved the welcoming bed decorations. The pool is huge and a great swim. There’s a good view out to Sigiriya from the lobby. The staff are friendly and helpful. We would happily stay here again.
