Extraordinary architecture and design in rooms, common areas, landscaping. Walking the entire hotel was an experience in itself. Gorgeous views from every angle. The buffet looked amazing. The infinity pool was excellent, great temperature, great views from it. Unique experience upon arrival receiving lotus flowers and being seated at a casual table with great views.

El hotel Sigiriya se encuentra dentro del Triángulo Cultural de Sri Lanka, declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Pool, food, staff. Nice to get that view of Sigiriya right from pool. Rooms face out to different courtyards w amazing old trees.

This was our second stay at Ashburnham Estate, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. There’s a rare quality to this place—an effortless elegance and warmth that welcomes you the moment you arrive. The landscape is breathtaking, with rolling hills, and quiet, expansive views. Every detail of the experience feels considered, from the beautifully curated interiors to the gentle rhythm of each day. The food was exceptional, and prepared and served with genuine hospitality. Ashburnham offers not just a break from the everyday, but a complete shift in pace. The whole fteam is gracious and attentive without ever being intrusive, and their warmth and professionalism enhanced the sense of calm and care. I travel a lot, and I don’t believe there’s anywhere quite like it, thank you Vish, Daniel and the team! We will return again I’m sure!

El Arika goza de unas vistas relajantes a la vegetación de los alrededores y tiene una piscina al aire libre y una sauna. Dispone de cómodas habitaciones con aire acondicionado y terraza privada. Cannot thank the staff enough. We had the best 7 days on Sri Lanka thanks to their amazing hospitality. The room was massive and we had 2 interconnected rooms that were very clean and well maintained. The food was incredible and well worth paying for half board. My kids asked if we could stay forever! This place will have a little place in our hearts and I honestly cannot recommend the place enough. Thank you
