Located on a small island in the very heart of Svolvær Harbor in the Lofoten Archipelago, Anker Brygge offers rooms in traditional Norwegian fisherman’s cottages. Offering a restaurant, The Tide - Rorbuer is located in Sørvågen fishing village. Guests can choose from guest rooms or self-catering cottages. You can enjoy sea and mountain views from all the rooms.... We needed to find a place to stay last minute during our trip to the Lofoten Islands. Booking was easy and The Tide did not disappoint! We left our lodging early because the accommodations were less than we were comfortable with and The Tide turned the trip around! The waterfront cabin was the typical Lofoten fishermen’s cabin, picturesque, clean and had everything you could want/need. The main building was an added bonus as we had a great dinner and the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. Even better we were able to catch the Northern Lights right from our cabin! Our only regret was not booking The Tide from the start.
