Located in a quiet oceanfront area on the island of Averøy, this former Bacalao (salt modified and dried cod) factory has been restored into a rustic guesthouse. It was a very unique and pleasant experience . The location , the friendliness of staff , every thing was wonderful . Serene , peaceful , quiet !

Stayed in 300 year old room. Very good food in restaurant. Klippfisk was absolutely superb. Breakfast was very good with many choices hot and cold. Highly recommend to stay at this place if you travel the Atlanterhavsroad.

Overlooking the Geiranger Fjord, this spa hotel offers a rooftop garden, free parking and rooms with free Wi-Fi access, a minibar and a TV. The Flydalsjuvet viewing point is 4 km away. The location is excellent near the harbor and center. They have a parking (free). Welcoming staff especially at the restaurant, they were really great. Nice cozy and well equipped room, very cozy beds. Very good design in all the hotel. Pool (warm) outdoor jacuzzi and sauna and an excellent spa near the pool. The breakfast and other meals were extraordinary, great variety and good quality and again the restaurant team is great.
