Located in a quiet oceanfront area on the island of Averøy, this former Bacalao (salt modified and dried cod) factory has been restored into a rustic guesthouse. This was just fantastic! Where do I even begin? The host, Pablo, is fantastic. Very friendly, talkative and has a great positive energy. The house itself is just splendid, and so was our studio. It is even more lovely than on the pictures. We had the window open the whole night, a nice breeze was blowing through it, listening to oystercatchers, gulls, and waves. Just magical! The breakfast was good, the terrace very cozy... I could go on and on.

Vast buffet breakfast, it would probably take a month's stay to try every item! Good view out to the harbour. We had dinner in the hotel which was super, really appreciated the chef making up a vegetarian starter as there was none on the menu.
