The rooms have a beautiful view of the fjord that you can enjoy from your private balcony. The rooms are decorated in the beautiful scandinavian style. After a day of touring in the beautiful nature you can enjoy a relaxing hot jacuzzi.

Located in a quiet oceanfront area on the island of Averøy, this former Bacalao (salt modified and dried cod) factory has been restored into a rustic guesthouse. Such a beautiful little hotel with the most lovely staff. We stayed in the Studio Apartment with Sea View and WOW! The view was absolutely breathtaking! We also had dinner at the hotel and it ended up being one of the best meals we had during our time in Norway. I did notice a few reviews mention the steep stairs, but honestly, that’s just part of the charm when staying in a historic building in Europe. It didn’t bother us at all and added to the authentic feel of the place.

We got in late at night and the young lady at the front desk opened the kitchen and cooked the 4 of us dinner of spare ribs and hamburgers!
