Located on a small island in the very heart of Svolvær Harbor in the Lofoten Archipelago, Anker Brygge offers rooms in traditional Norwegian fisherman’s cottages. Home Hotel Grand Bodø is located next to Glasshuset Shopping Centre in central Bodø. It offers free WiFi and a free hot evening buffet. All rooms at Hotel Grand Bodø feature wooden floors. Hotel was at the city center or Bodø, few mins walk from the port and 15 mins walk from the airport. Also it was near to many restaurants and caffes. The breakfast was great and they were offering a dinner every day. Staff was very helpful and allowed us to leave the suitcases when we arrived earlier until the room was ready. It is highly recommended!

Offering a restaurant, The Tide - Rorbuer is located in Sørvågen fishing village. Guests can choose from guest rooms or self-catering cottages. You can enjoy sea and mountain views from all the rooms.... Arriving late was no issue – the key was waiting for me in a secured box with clear instructions on how to find the cabin. The entire check-in process was simple and calm. The location? Breathtaking. The red rorbu cabin stood by the water, beautifully renovated, modern, and warm. That night, I opened a bottle of champagne and fell asleep like a baby. In the morning, I explored the nearby village of Å, where I sent a few real paper postcards – the kind with stamps, ink, and addresses, not just ones and zeros 😉 Later, I climbed the nearby mountain you recommended, and the view from the top left me completely speechless. Thank you for the tip – it was unforgettable.
