The hotel is situated in a tiny picturesque village from the late 19th century by the Luster fjord, overlooking a fantastic view. It has Norway’s best breakfast with everything you may wish, and fantastic service. For extra luxury, enjoy a wonderful 4-course dinner prepared by some of our best chefs, followed by a drink and coffee in the garden. We stayed in one of the modern rooms, which has plenty of space and a nice porch on the lawn to enjoy the morning sun. This is a must see for everyone who just want to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape. It’s not cheap, but it’s with it.

El Vangsgaarden Gjestgiveri ocupa los edificios más antiguos de la localidad de Aurland. Se encuentra a orillas del fiordo de Aurland y tiene vistas espectaculares a las montañas de los alrededores. We stayed in a fisherman's hut, right on the water. It was gorgeous. We even got lucky and were able to see the northern lights over the fjord from our little porch. The restaurant and included breakfast were delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

Los alrededores del hotel son muy bonitos con decoración acorde al mismo. El desayuno buffet muy completo y la atención fue excelente. Recomiendo cenar en el Aegir Pub justo al lado del hotel, la comida, las cervezas, el ambiente y la atención son de primera.

It was such a dreamy room, the viking theme was exactly what we wanted. The panoramic view of the ceiling window was so beautiful,I didn't want to leave there . The staff was so nice and helpful, we had a small problem with the room, and when we called after 12 am they came either way and changed our rooms, so helpful. The viking village is right next to the hotel. It was a beautiful stay and one I will remember.

Housed in a 19th-century building by Stryn Bay, this hotel offers individually decorated rooms with private balconies and free WiFi access. Stryn centre is a short walk away. This stay exceeded our expectations. Such a beautiful hotel with the most amazing décor. We had a set menu style dinner at the hotel and it was the best food we had in Norway! Este hotel se encuentra en Myrdal, a la cabeza del famoso ferrocarril de Flåm, solo es accesible en tren y está situado sobre el fiordo de Aurlandsfjord. The location is beautiful and very close to the zipline which led us to having the most amazing day of our whole Scandinavian adventure. We did the zipline followed by the bike ride then the fjord safari in Flam followed by the flamsbana back up later in the day. We used this as a way to break up the journey from Oslo to Bergen and I'm so glad we did. The hotel is quirky and homely with excellent food provision all day, you don't need anything else.
