All the attractions were within walking distance of the hotel.

Situated in central Tromsø, 150 metres from the main street, Storgata, Enter Amalie Hotel offers free WiFi internet access and free coffee, tea, cake and cookies. I was so happy with this booking! Location is great: Easy access to both the main street and the port, without the noise nuisance of either. Breakfast was great. The daily "Norwegian waffle" evenings were super cozy. The room was well equipped and functional. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I felt cold, and within minutes they had made arrangements for an extra heater and turned it on so the room was warm when I got back. They offer a number of excursions with "Enter Adventures" -- super easy to just pop down from your room to the ground floor, where the Northern Lights chaser tours start. Overall, great value for money - especially considering the NOK prices.

I like how flexible they are with their check-in. It was so cold and rainy and the receptionist allowed us to check in at 10AM without extra charge. Free waffles, tea, coffee and water as well.
