Mike and Wookie were the perfect hosts with the perfect home! We were so lucky we had the chance to stay with them and only wish we had more time. The space is fabulous, well equipped and very clean. The hot tub with the view made it so memorable. And having morning breakfast with Mike’s delicious food and Wookie keeping us company made us feel at home. If you’re lucky enough to snag an apartment here book it!

This is a special place to stay - the views from our room over the bay were spectacular. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace and exploring the islands. Brita and Heinz are generous hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was spacious and well equipped. This has to be one of the best places I have stayed.

Surrounded by lovely gardens and situated on the waterfront, Hananui Lodge and Apartments features accommodation with free WiFi, a private balcony or patio and an LCD TV. This hotel was one of the cleanest & best maintained that we’ve been to. The reception was welcoming & the way the people take care of the property and guests is exceptional. The magnificent view and location In Russell can’t be beat!

This motel is a special find - huge rooms, so clean, well appointed and comfortable. It has a complete kitchen, wonderful shower and comfortable beds. The best part is stepping out from your door to your own patio and right to the pool. This pool is not in a parking lot or by a street but surrounded by a beautiful garden and lawn. We enjoyed morning coffee poolside as well as Happy Hour. All units open to the pool. The couple running the motel is delightful, extremely helpful in planning activities, learning about the gardens, and making our stay exceptional.

It was the perfect relaxing accommodation for two couples wanting a proper break away. Access to the beach was fantastic, the spa was lovely, kitchen was stocked with all that was needed.

Lionel and Rob friendly, gracious, and professional hosts. A really great experience and we were very impressed by the overall quality of their hospitality. Sad we couldn't stay longer. The bed in our cottage was very comfortable.

Averill Court Motel offers spacious self-contained accommodation, only 150 metres from Paihia Beach. All rooms are built around a central pool area with spa pool, swimming pool and sun terrace. Excellent location, just 10 minutes walk to the wharf. The unit is very clean and well equipped, really like the kitchen panel and facilities. Every unit has its own parking space. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for 3 nights in an apartment.
