Jane was a fantastic host, the views from the house were wonderful, even with cloudy weather. The room was very comfortable and quiet, and had everything we needed. The breakfast was wonderful. The house and garden are in great shape, and decorated and maintained with a lot care and love by Jane. We spent a wonderful evening there going through some of the books in the living room.

Steve and Jackie are wonderful hosts. The Villa is perfectly sited between the centre and the Botanic Gardens and is a beautifully maintained classic building. The rooms are spacious and our bed was very comfortable. There's air con if needed. One of the highlights was breakfast, which was tasty, and an opportunity to have a chat with other travellers at round the communal tables with plentiful supplies of tea and coffee.

The property is ideally situated on the waterfront and a short walk into town. The room was well equipped and spotlessly clean with a beautiful area to sit out the front and enjoy the views. The highlight was the fabulous breakfast and Patrick and Mary-Claire who were wonderful hosts. Highly recommend the Hamptons to anyone spending time in Kaikoura.
