Staff were very friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Mountain view from rear window of room. Quiet location. The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom was nice with a spa bath. Bed and pillows were really comfy. Restaurant food was lovely and good value for money.

So nice to find this gorgeous hotel, beautiful ecclectic interior, individual in style with all the comforts of home. Appreciated the down duvet, a nice change from the usual polyester. Packet of NICE biscuits, along with coffee pods are a very appreciated touch!

The hosts couldn’t have been more gracious and accommodating, from providing help with food, suggestions for what to see, laundry, etc. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. The location was perfect, just a short walk to downtown New Plymouth with restaurants, museums and the coastal walkway and an easy drive to Mt. Taranaki and hiking trails. All in all, a wonderful way to start our visit to New Zealand.
