Situated in a 12th century Augustin Convent, the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes overlooks Guimarães. Rooms are equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning and cable TV. Me encanto la magia del hotel y la atencion del personal en general .

El Tea 4 Nine Guest House se encuentra en Braga y sirve el almuerzo en los apartamentos. Este alojamiento independiente cuenta con conexión WiFi gratuita. Super clean apartment on the first floor with needed kitchen equipment for make a light meal. The apartment is all white, which makes it easy to see that the apartment is very clean. There are bathrobes and slippers for when one gets back “home”, and dishwasher for cleaning the dishes so one does not need to hand wash. The bed and pillows are on the firm side (perfect for me). There is a small convenience/supermarket just a few steps away, and a larger one (Pingo Doce) about 5 min walk away (I am a speed walker FYI). The bus terminal is 5 min away (Google map says 7 min). All the “tourist sites” are near the apartment. Train station is about a 10 min walk (Google map says 13-15 min). Can’t comment on parking as I didn’t drive, but I saw parking sign near the square where the apartment is located. Margarida provides breakfast for the entire stay, so please let her know if there is any dietary restriction. I didn’t as I didn’t expect it to be a “complete” continental breakfast (bread, prosciutto, cheese, milk, fruit juice, fruit, water, soda and even a bottle of vino verde!). I am gluten/sodium/sugar free due to health issues, so it isn’t easy for me when I travel, but for future visits I would definitely let Margarida know about my dietary restrictions. Overall I really enjoyed this stay and would definitely stay here again when I am back to Braga!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Mercearia da Vila in Ponte de Lima. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the charm and warmth of this beautiful building right in the heart of the town. The location couldn’t be better, just a 2 min walk to the historic centre, the river, and plenty of lovely restaurants and cafes. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautiful decorated with a perfect blend of modern amenities and traditional touches. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, we slept so well each night.

Trovador Guest House is located in the historic center of Guimarães and offers comfortable suites just 1 km from the iconic Guimarães Castle. Wi-Fi is free in all areas. We only had time to stay in Guimaraes for two nights but we packed a lot of walking and sight seeing into the time we had. The Trovador Guest house operates from a small group of houses in the older part of town near what was the leather tanning area of the city. There are lots of interesting buildings around the area bars, cafes and eateries within easy walking distance. Our room was spotlessly clean and it was evident that the building had recently been restored - very tastefully decorated and furnished. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and they went out of their way to help us find things that we were looking for. A great breakfast was also provided with lots of pasteries, and fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, juices etc.

Featuring outdoor and indoor swimming pools, Tempus Hotel & Spa has a spa, a wellness centre and a restaurant. Quiet location, well-integrated architecture with the landscape, nice pool and spa. Good parking facilities with charging stations.
