Great apartment! Clean and spacious. Cute tiny balcony overlooking the street. Excellent location, grocery store very close. Had a great terrace on the roof that we used too! Housekeeping service was a nice bonus!

The Hotel da Oliveira is within the historical Guimarães city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Guimarães Castle, the city’s most iconic landmark is 150 metres away. The hotel is right in the historical center of Guimarães but still offers parking (100m down the road). The room was absolutely fantastic, so comfortable and neat. We had a gorgeous balcony opened to the pedestrian street below, the bed had 3 different sort of pillows to choose from, I couldn’t fault anything. The staff was extremely cordial and kind, especially considering my husband’s mishap at breakfast when he spilled coffee all over the counter (we’re terribly sorry). They were all lovely to us from the first minute to the last! Great impression since it’s our first time in the city, but we’ll definitely be back and stay here again!

It's great to enter the apt. earlier before check-in time after a long journey from Coimbra. We were lucky.
