Located in a fully-renovated historical building, the Porto AS 1829 Hotel is located in the city’s historical centre. Noted Porto landmarks like the Clérigos Tower and São Bento Train Station are a 7-minute walk. We had the best stay in this hotel! The room was very clean, had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, and the shower essentials were really nice. The location is just perfect, very close to all the sights. The staff of the hotel is truly amazing. So helpful, polite and nice! The receptionist gave us the best recommendations to visit the main attractions, and the waitress at the restaurant helped with the food alternatives. My girlfriend cannot eat gluten, so they provided gluten-free alternatives for her (even pastel de nata!), we highly appreciate it. ❤️ Would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Porto!

Each unit has an exclusive décor, with an open-plan living area with sofa bed, flat-screen cable TV and a dining table. All units include a Queen-size bed and are air conditioned. The studios have also a sofa bed and the Lofts have a mezzanine with 4 single beds. The bathrooms were all renovated in 2017 and each features free toiletries, a hairdryer and a shower. Some have a balcony. Very cozy with hospitable staff and convenient location. Close to all attractions and cafes, big supermarket round the corner. Our host made up the route for us without even asking, which was a nice surprise and helped with the luggage. The apartment was amazing with all the utensils

The room was beautiful and spacious, and the hotel has a lovely dining area where breakfast was also good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Note: there’s a lift, but it’s only for suitcases. Overall, it’s very good value for money – we really enjoyed our stay!

The units are within a 5-minute walk from the São Bento Train Station, famous for its historically themed tiled panels. Hi there!! It's a wonderful place, don't judge a book by its cover, on arriving at a shady, old cobblestone street you are at "Warning mode", but when you open the tall and old door, and look around you automatically change to "WOW' mode!!! Then when you just look at your apartment, an after gobbling down the red wine left there by the host, you think, "This is really nice". The best part, well, of many good parts is that everything is nearby, just everything!!!

The property is a 5-minute walk from the Porto city centre and a 3-minute drive away from the iconic D. Luís I Bridge. The team was excellent, special tanks to migel who gave us many great recommendations. I liked also the room, the patio, the location.

The building and all of its areas were fully refurbished in 2018. Each room features stylish décor with wooden parquet floors, white painted walls and large French-style doors which open out to views of the city. There is a seating area with a flat-screen cable TV and a private bathroom decorated with mosaic tiles and free toiletries. The staff were so lovely and kind. Professional and took customer care seriously. Fantastic location of you like to be in the middle of Porto. Just steps away from the Bolsa palace.
