It is convenient and close to downtown and the markets, and it is quiet enough as the rooms have double pane glass and are in the back of the property. One of the biggest pluses is that they offer a FREE breakfast which is delicious and substantial. I don't know of any other property on Booking.com that gives a free breakfast. But the biggest reason to stay at Baan Jaru is it is a family-run business and the son, Toddy, studied in the UK for many years so he speaks fluent English, is very knowledgeable about the local areas and tourist spots in Chiang Rai, and knows what true guest services should be like. He is the main reason that they are so successful. Their prices are very reasonable and they don't change their room prices in the off or on-season because they have a high-quality product/service. I very highly recommend staying at the Baan Jaru if you visit Chiang Rai. I was 110% satisfied with my stay at Baan Jaru!

The hosts are very friendly, helpful and highly educated individuals. They were always there to assist me and open for talk. I can fully recommend this place and would love to stay here again!

The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The whole place is comfy and welcoming, and the staff is super smiley and helpful, ready to give you all the info you need.

The staff were very kind. They offered motorbike rental services that were excellent. The motorbike that we rent worked excelent and it was very usefull to get to know the city and all te tourist atractions. The room was cleean and tidy.

Wang Put Tan Boutique House, dispone de wifi gratis, está en Mae Salong, a 44 km de Villa Real Doi Tung. Hay un restaurante de cocina asiática y parking privado gratis. The location was brilliant with wonderful views of the village and valleys of Mae Salong. The hotel staff were helpful and we used google translate often to communicate clearly which worked very well. Great traditional Yunnanese breakfast included in our tarriff. The local tea was exceptional. The room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. The balcony was a bonus with stunning views and fresh mountain air. The hotel was very helpful with finding a driver to take us on a day trip as well as a transfer to Chiang Khong The local bakery and 7eleven are a short walk away The coffee at the bakery was brilliant as was the freshly cooked food.
