This hotel is expensive, very expensive, but the room is so clean and the facilities amazing that I really felt it was worth it. If you are someone, like myself, who likes extreme cleanliness, I would say this is for you. Location is central, in the heart of Waikiki, so you can walk easily to the beach, if you are a beach person. All in all, if I'll ever come back to Hawaii, this is def the place I would stay again.

Situated 300 feet above the sea with sweeping views of three Hawaiian Islands, Hotel Wailea, Relais & Chateaux - Adults Only features luxurious facilities and spacious suites. Well, this is was a real and very pleasant surprise, since I didn't expect the hotel to be so good and luxurious. The are is so green and lush with waterfalls, trees, intimate lighting. Small buildings with 2-3 rooms in each are located far from each other to give a really secluded feeling—we never felt like we're in a huge resort facility with tons of other people. The pool is spacious, yoga and fitness center is very good, plus, you have free yoga classes every morning. Valet parking is free, and the staff will take you to the nearest town in their Mercs and Range Rovers, if you want to have a drink in a bar or a restaurant. The room had all the amenities, including a very fancy Dyson hairdryer, with a ton of free sodas and snacks (that were restocked daily). The service and the attention we got was beyond any expectations. You do feel special here. The hotel restaurant was superb. We had a chance to compare it to the famous Mama's Fish House, and just trust me on this, the latter is too overpriced for the quality and the service you get. We also got to visit the Four Seasons that was nearby, the one where they filmed the first season of The White Lotus, and boy oh boy was it disappointing. Four Seasons is an enormous anthill without any feel of a luxurious resort. So trust me on this, if you travel without children choose Hotel Wailea.

VIVE Hotel Waikiki is a 100% non-smoking boutique hotel, just 4 minutes’ walk from Waikiki Beach, offers free WiFi and modern guest rooms with mountain, city or ocean views. The hotel has a perfect location - the beach was just 5 min walk from the hotel! We liked the breakfast and the coffee ( available for 24 hours!). Lobby looks like a big, comfortable living room, and we love to stay there, take a cup of coffee, or just chill in the evening hours. Staff is extremely nice and kind - they were happy to help with everything we asked for. Beach gear and towels are available, and that was great since we didn't have any. The room was nice and comfortable.

Situated in Kapaa, Kauai Shores Hotel is an oceanfront hotel that features a private beach, a beachfront restaurant, and a 6-acre tropical courtyard complete with 2 outdoor pools. Our room was very clean. We very much enjoyed the parking and water station included in the price. Staff was kind and helpful.
