In a historic mansion, previously an old churchyard is located in the heart of Stellenbosch, Oude Werf Hotel features uniquely themed rooms with free internet. Lovely breakfasts with wonderful staff, they were so helpful.

Situated on a working grape and olive farm, Fransvliet Guest House features spacious suites with a private verandah and a garden with outdoor pool. The guest house is 4 km away from Franschhoek. Beautiful property on a wine farm. Great location close to many excellent wineries. Breakfast was great! Staff was helpful and accommodating! Rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. We loved relaxing at the pool in between our winery adventures. The paddle court was an added bonus!

It was wonderful, Fiona had been so welcoming, showed me everything. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. I loved lying by the pool! Later on I enjoyed a cream cheese wine pairing and a red wine tasting! After that my bed was calling very loudly and I had a very good night sleep in an extraordinary comfy bed. Next morning I woke up with a stunning view of the mountains. Breakfast was perfect, everything there and nicely arranged, always attended to by Fiona.It was just wonderful. I’m definitely coming back!

Tranquility and spending quality time are the main things we were looking for and that is exactly what we got. Beautiful views, away from our usual busy city life. The place was clean, great staff - very welcoming. We felt like we were part of the family and the team made great suggestions on local restaurants to visit for dinner. The complimentary wine tasting and wine in our suite were highly appreciated. We did not feel the impact of loadshedding because the house had a back up power supply. The second day of our stay was a cold day but we had wine and a fire place in our suite to make everything alright.

This exclusive 5-star residence offers a solar-heated swimming pool and a wooden deck with views of the Franschhoek Mountains. Each of the air-conditioned rooms has an iPod Docking Station. The hotel was fantastic and the team working there made everything even better. So helpful and welcoming! We are extremely pleased with the level of care in this place! We are totally going back!
