Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. The deck area boasts a cocktail bar and free WiFi is available throughout. The location is fabulous, looking over the gorge. The chalets are lovely, great bathroom facilities. Food is very good.

Amazing stay, one of our favorites so far here in SA. Amazing room, big , comfortable and has everything we needed. The view was to die for, and sleeping with the sound of the ocean was wonderful. Incredible breakfast and staff that go above and beyond. We wish we could have stayed longer, and will definitely be back for longer than two days next time

The country-style suites are elegantly decorated and feature under-floor heating, a sofa and air conditioning. It includes a desk, safe and en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. Some suites offer a view of the Knysna lagoon. This colonial style building and grounds are in a beautiful scenic setting. Comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Fantastic home cooked evening meal by Josephine, the wife had a steak cooked to perfection, and I had the lamb curry. The breakfasts are to die for. The property is close (20 mins) to the wonderful remote, not busy Buffalo beach with an endless sandy beach and shallow clean water. The UrbanGirl cafe/restaurant is superb and is 10 minutes drive away. The Muse cocktail bar is 10 mins walk away and has a lovely garden to enjoy good priced food and drinks.

The suites offer sea views. This was service above and beyond, all staff greeted us by name at all times. The house and rooms are just amazing, warm and inviting. We were just blown away. Breakfast was so well presented and delicious. Wayne & Dirk are amazing hosts and we will highly recommend a visit to this Guest House .. it is a must and the views are just incredible

A seating area with a flat-screen satellite TV is in Dolphin’s well-appointed rooms. It features wooden ceilings and tiled floors. Each has a private bathroom with a hairdryer and toiletries. Great location, easily reachable beach, very friendly staff and very spacious room with great views.

This former power station is located in Knysna and offers sunny suites with an iPod docking station and views of the Knysna Lagoon. The spacious sun deck comes with an outdoor pool.

The rooms at Turbine Hotel & Spa are elegantly decorated with light fabrics and parquet floors. The suites have a satellite LCD TV and extra long beds. Clean, amazingly helpful and friendly staff, great location and fabulous breakfast.

Falcons View Manor is 1 km from Knysna Harbour, where you can rent a boat and explore the Knysna National Lakes Area. The hotel is 5 km from Simola Golf Club, which was designed by the great Jack Nicklaus. The Manor House is stunning and a lovely place to stay. Sue and Danelle were very warm and welcoming, the rooms are very spacious and classy and the view over Knysna is wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and the dinner was exceptional. A we'll managed venue and although it was very brief, we were always made to feel very welcome and we really enjoyed our short stay.
