The apartment exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness was exceptional, and both the bedroom and the living room were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bathroom was quite large. The balcony featured a pleasant lounge area. We never went to the swimming pool, but it looked nice. The property is well-located, just a 3 to 5-minute walk to the bus stop and supermarket. The surroundings are amazing. If you like biking or walking, there's a lovely park nearby. It was a worthwhile stay, and I recommend it.

Great price, clean hotel, friendly staff, lovely breakfast. Altough there was not available free parking (limited space), we could park on the street until 9am. An local restaurant was recommended by the reception, just a few minutes walk away, we had a tasty schnitzel there.

Had such a great stay. Was staying alone, and arrived very early to drop off my bags. My room was already ready for me to use, and they’d kindly upgraded me. Staff were lovely and I made use of the breakfast buffet next door. So easy to get to from the main train station. Would stay here again.

We loved everything about Gasthof Maria Plain! We had no idea where it was located in relationship to Salzburg, but we had admired the church from the road as we came in. Imagine our surprise when we saw we were going up that hill towards the church. Parking was easy & convenient. The second surprise is that the hotel had its own charming Christmas market. The rooms were clean & comfortable, & every room had a breathtaking view. The fact that we arrived after a big snow storm just added to the beauty. It was a short & inexpensive cab ride to central Salzburg. The restaurant had a good menu, great food & reasonable prices. Breakfast was very nice. The staff were very friendly & helpful. We will be back next spring!

The room was quiet. There were blackout curtains on the windows, the mattress was firm and the pillow was big, soft and wery comfortable. We had an own air heat pump for the temperature control. There was a small fridge for our snacks to stay fresh in the room. In the evening there is no restaurant in this BB place, but you could buy exellent kebab from the same street or use the restaurants in the hauptbahnhoff. In the morning the Houses delicious breakfast will keep you going long. We bought so called Salzburg Cards from the reception and the man there was wery helpful about how to find the attractions we want to visit.
