The Hoxton was an oasis of friendliness in the middle of an otherwise cold and unwelcoming Brussels. The staff is excellent, not only are they helpful and friendly, but also they manage to be very human and you feel welcome and cared for. The bar has wonderful drinks, the rooftop bar has great Mexican food and cocktails, the rooms are very stylish. Since I arrived late at night and a bit shook after the short travel from the Brussels Noord station (not advisable, especially late at night) I was offered a room upgrade (with a cool bathtub) free of charge - I was so positively impressed with everything!

Incredible! This hotel blew my expectations. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The shower was fully stocked, the room had everything, fridge, nespresso, tea, water, slippers etc.

Erick was the perfect host, providing a delicious breakfast with homemade bread, yogurt and preserves every day. When we arrived at 9pm on our rainy first night, tired, hungry and soaked through, he very kindly phoned one of his favourite local restaurants to ask them to accommodate us for a late dinner. We enjoyed getting to know Erick and his very friendly cats, and hope to visit them again in the future.
