The room was spacious, and I appreciated that it had sockets compatible with more than just Swiss plugs, making it convenient for me to use my laptop. The location was excellent, with plenty of options for restaurants, grocery stores, and more. The reception staff was welcoming and helpful, allowing me to store my luggage in their storage room until my taxi arrived. Check-in was quick, and everything was clean. Overall, I had a fantastic experience. Additionally, the Basel Card they provided was extremely useful and helped me a lot during my first few days in the city.

The room was very nice, great view. Size wize the room was small but compact with everything you might need for a short stay. The location is great, super easy to reach by public transport. (Dont forget to request the BaselCard in order to travel for free around the city, and have discounts in museums and other attractions. ) All the staff was super kind and helpful during all times.

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available.

Location is perfect, very easy to get there from the airport and then all the sights can be easily reached on foot or by tram. Breakfast was delicious and there was a good choice of things. The room was super clean with a nice bathroom. The bed was comfy and the whole room was quiet so nights were relaxing. Even the late (after midnight) check-in could be solved.

This place is a fantastic choice for its price, quality, and location. Perfect for those who prefer self check-in and just need a spot to shower and sleep. Everything you need is within walking distance, and it’s easy to reach the train station, explore the historic center, or visit shops and restaurants. I also want to highlight that during the online check-in, I had a little trouble completing the tourist tax payment. I liked everything - the apartment is spacious and comfortable, it has everything you need for a pleasant stay, it is cleaned every day, towels are changed every day. Everything is at the required level. It is located close to the airport, and there are public transport stops literally in front of the hotel. The reception staff is very kind and ready to helpful. The hotel has underground parking, which makes it very convenient if you have rented a car.
