I spent 2 nights alone as a treat to myself. This is the best place to spend time alone (or not ), you can't get bored as you can spend time at the spa or the gym, or sit at the balcony and watch passers by. The staff is nice and discreet. They'll answer any questions and accommodate your needs. Very enjoyable spa and very well equipped gym. The bedding is very comfortable. The room is extremely clean and cozy. The shower is amazing.

Basic breakfast with bread, cheese, jam (homemade) and orange juice was enough to get the day off to a good start. Both tea and coffee was available with pods. Little garden area to sit in for breakfast and evening drink was ideal. Location literally next to the railway station was ideal giving easy access to both Thun and Bern without need of the car. Hosts couldn't have been more helpful or friendly, giving advice on what to see in the area.

We come back to my home town Bern several times a year and have stayed in many different hotels and B&Bs - SONNEN Loft beats them all! What a lovely farm bnb. Our family of 6 fit perfectly in “Martha” and woke up to a beautiful view of the Alps. The host was wonderful to work with and kept us well informed. There were farm animals and plenty of games which kept the kids entertained. Nice shared kitchen space. A short drive (15 mins) to Bern.

The room and location are lovely, and the staff friendly. I actually wanted to stay longer, but the hotel was booked solid.

Wonderful experience with the host: extremely good description of the place, very good and thoughtful communication upfront (we were asked if we wanted one bed or also the sofa bed with linen even if we traveled with 2 people only) and very nicely prepared with snacks and drinks to welcome us. Ticket for the public transport is included and it is very easy to take the tram. The apartment was very clean and nice. The apartment is in a normal house, but we did not hear any neighbor. The windows were extremely good and when closed we did not hear any noise and could sleep very well. The parking garage was 200m away, so we unloaded / loaded luggage in front of the house and then parked the car. Thank you!

We were the first guests at this property, and everything was absolutely perfect. The house was spotless, beautifully furnished, and fully equipped. The peaceful location offered stunning views of the valley below, with horses and cows grazing nearby—truly a Swiss countryside dream. Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. A memorable and relaxing stay—highly recommended!
