We just loved this hotel. A great location on the river front of Luzern and only a few minutes walk from the train station. Warm welcome on arrival and very helpful and friendly staff throughout our stay. Our room was a good size with a comfy bed! Decor and furniture very tasteful and good quality. We booked a room with a river view … and it was spectacular! And very much enjoyed the coffee making machine and gift snacks. Complimentary drinks in the wine bar on arrival was also a nice touch. We will certainly stay here again next time in Luzern!!

This is like a dream place. An experience you would hardly forget! The location is dreamy, my room was facing the hills with cowbells ringing all day. Breakfast are exquisite, whatever you like will be served within a minute. Service everywhere in the resort is amazing, stuff is the friendliest and the most entertaining for the ones who travel alone too. You can enjoy several different restaurants with great cuisine and views. Spa in the Waldhotel is perfect, clean and quiet, not many visitors during a low season (i was basically alone there all the time). You can also enjoy some attractions around or visit Luzern by boat fastly.

The manager and his wife were wonderful! We ended up eating every mean overlooking the beautiful Lake Lucerne. We got to know the waiters and they were so kind. We went for a day into Lucerne, and the manager recommended the best restaurant, Brasserie Bodu which we have since passed on to friends visiting Lucerne.
