Despite the significant drawback of not having an elevator in the 5-story building, LOFT Youth Hostel Shenzhen provided the most peaceful and nature-friendly environment among the hostels I have stayed in personally. The front desk volunteers (if I’m not mistaken?) were always ready to assist foreign backpackers and were consistently friendly. Additionally, the hostel used a shared WeChat messenger ID to handle any issues or questions from guests promptly and effectively, whether they were in the hostel or not. Thanks to this, I was able to get accurate information about BAOAN International Airport Terminal and bookstores in Shenzhen. It was a bit disappointing that as a foreign tourist I couldn’t order food delivery, but it was very convenient to bring food and drinks and enjoy them freely in the lobby on the first floor. The dog and cat in the lobby who greeted visitors quietly also served as great mascots for the hostel. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay and plan to book again if I have the chance in the future.

At the Ritz, all is great, as one would expect. We had some issue with the room, and the issue was solved very professionally: this is how a superior 5 star hotel is supposed to work! Good outdoor swimming pool. Great breakfast (the breakfast at Ritz is the "benchmark" I use to compare breakfasts at other hotels). Superior food quality and ample choice of both western and local food. Can also find india-style breakfast and fresh sushi. Subway a 2 min walk, a food plaza at 3 min walk....

The team was really professional, especially the restaurant and restaurant meeting rooms are operated flawlessly. We had a business meeting we had to organize, a staff member called Queen took care of us. She provided a detailed plan for the next days meeting and even helped us pick the menu for the main course. The service was top notch and the place is also super clean. We will definately be coming back to this hotel whenever we have a meeting in Shenzhen.
