The bedroom beautifully conceived with walls out of wood, cupboard, sofa, small table, very comfortable bed (even with bedsheet, not always easy to find in Kashmir). Side night tables with lamps.

This is the perfect spot to base yourself while you explore Kashmir. The area is centrally located and the room and facilities are great. What really stands out though is the host family. Bilal and his family are very helpful and friendly and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. Ps make sure you try a home cooked dinner during your stay, it was my favourite meal in Kashmir!

We have had a wonderful stay at Solar residency this week. The team were beyond accommodating by allowing us early check-in and late check-out to suit our flights. The General Manager, Mr Imran made our stay all the more wonderful by showing us true Kashmiri hospitality and making us feel right at home. The location has been very convenient and staff are exceptional - a big highlight of our stay. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Housekeeping are thorough (Mr Nasir Ahmed and the team were wonderful), room service has been prompt and food from the dinner menu delicious.

Superb property - very neat and very very clean. On a serious note i really don’t like to spend many days at one location due to untidy spaces but trust me this places was super clean and beds and pillows were super clean. No shoes were allowed inside the property and the breakfast was just awesome. Aashiq was equally an awesome and super supporting guy. Do meet him once you are there
