My fiancé and I enjoyed the kindness from the staff (Martino and Nicolas), the many recommendations we were given, tour guide we were set up with via the hotel, and complimentary breakfast in the morning. We met a bunch of other fun travelers from all over the world during breakfast. The hotel rooms had robes and slippers for each of us - a nice addition. And the location was great - very walkable to old town and the castle right next door!

Very good accommodation, everything was clean and perfect location in Bari Vecchia. You could walk short distances, 22 min from Bari Centrale on foot. The owner of the apartment was very welcoming and kind. I recommend staying in this apartment.

Murex is THE place to stay in Bari. We love the atmosphere, the location, the decoration, and the kindness of the host, who was helpful with advice about sights and restaurants. The stunning roof terrasse is a chapter of its own, we could have spent all our time in Bari relaxing there -but yet the city has so much to explore. So enjoying our breakfast on the terrasse was a treat - and to enjoy the view from there in the evening too. We also have to mention the possibility to order breakfast following your own choices, which is a super luxury for us. When in Bari we will be back - and recommend Murex.

The location is just perfect!!! In the old City and close to everything! :-) Alessandro, the owner, is quite friendly and he helped us find a place to park our car only a few minutes away from the apartment! I totally recommend this apartment. It was way bigger than I expected and ideal for a family. The location is great as it's in the middle of the old town, and close enough to the train station. Lovely apartment with all the facilities required. I would definitely stay here again. The host was very helpful and recommended places to visit.
