The Address is the place to stay in Akakura Onsen when visiting Myoko Kogen. It is right on the main strip so easily accessible to the lifts, rentals, restaurants, bars and the only convenience store (Yamazaki) is just opposite the hotel. But what really sets the place apart is the hospitality of the host and owner who takes a personal touch to ensuring your stay is comfortable and everything goes smoothly. Friendly staff - English speaking. Breakfast was great, self-serve cereal and muesli was included on top of hot breakfast. Onsen available for guest was huge and great. They were also kind enough to give us a lift to Myoko Kogen Station on the day of departure. Only 100m walk to the chairlift.

Saki and Hayden were amazing hosts, made us feel very welcome. The staff were lovely and the food DELISH! Breakfast was different each day and super tasty. Japanese room was so comfy and cosy. Overall, a great stay and would come again

We arrived not knowing what to expect really, but Nathan and Akiko were so welcoming and really good fun. As was Nick, their handyman. The dining room / living area was a place you wanted to be in, so we ended up spending more time there chatting with Nathan, Akiko and Nick (as well as the other guests) rather than heading out into the town.
Akikos food was amazing and good value too, so there was no need to go anywhere else either.
Nathan made extra effort to take us to the resorts, and also picking us up if he was able to.
Nick and Akiko joined us on the slopes too on occasion.
Also, being someone a little over 6ft, the beds were plenty bong enough and were really comfy.
After travelling for 4 months, this was comfortably our favourite stay and wish we could have stayed longer.
