Beautiful property. Wonderful staff. All very helpful and friendly. The public baths were wonderful. Outside baths were 2 different scenarios, one was gorgeous with five separate river rock soaking areas overlooking the river and forest, the other was 1 wooden tub in a small pavilion. Women have the beautiful spot afternoon/evening and swap with the men in the morning. Our room was very large and comfortable with a balcony and private soaking tub. The buffet style dinner and breakfast were delicious. Huge variety of freshly prepared foods. All you could eat and drink, beer, wine, various alcohol, sake, in the restaurant. The reception area had a piano, wood burning central fireplace to sit around. There were small tables with various board games, a library, snacks, beer and wine. Comfortable seating overlooking the hillside that was lit up at night. Very romantic spot to go for a special night.

The rooms and bathcrooms were spacious. Robes were provided. Supplies such as coffee, tea, matcha, as well as toiletries are all self service. Luggage storage area is available. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I loved that you get a welcome drink ticket to exchange for an alcoholic beverage of your choice in the dining area. They also had free soba and drink bar with soft serve ice cream until 10pm! It was a wonderful treat at the end of your long day and set us up for a comfortable sleep that night. We picked up amenities at the front desk which was nice so we grabbed only what we needed for the room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We slept really well that night.

The best feature of this hotel is its staff. They were considerate enough to give us a higher floor with a nice view for my son to enjoy. They were also kind enough to disregard our missed night due to consecutive flight cancellations. Finally, they both received and took excellent care of my delivered packages. As for the room, it was great. The view was the most memorable part and the bathroom (especially the tub) was bigger than the other hotel unit baths we've been to. Finally, with regard to location, it is beside a McDonalds and across a big 7&i so getting supplies won't be a problem.

Great location close to the station, but not noisy at all. You could stream using chromecast on the TV, which was really great! We do not have kids, but it was very kids friendly with an area for them to play in. Amenities to grab freely and free drinks/soups/snacks.
