We were welcomed by Marjolène who is the manager of La Maison de Tanger and she was very friendly, gave us tips for restaurants and places to visit. We tried dinner in their restaurant (we had couscous) and it was a huge portion and very delicious. Overall we enjoyed our stay and hope to return someday in spring/summer to enjoy also the garden and pool :-)

I had such an amazing time at Syrah Home. The staff is friendly and proactive, the breakfast is excellent, the place is very clean, spacious and the area where the hostel is located is my favorite, residential and quiet, within a short walking distance from the Kasbah, the Phoenician Tombs and the Cafe Hafa. I felt at home, whenever I'll be back in Tanga I'll book at Syrah Home

During our 18 days trip in Morocco, this is the BEST hotel we have stayed. The communication and the attitude of staff, the breakfast, the rooms are world class. To be honest, we stayed in a few similarly rated hotels across Fez, Marrakesh, Casablanca, and some towns in and around Merzouga. While those hotels were fine by Moroccan standards, many had issues — extremely small rooms in some riads, occasional smells, flies, and even a few sneaky hotel owners trying to push restaurant recommendations. It sometimes made me wonder if their ratings on Booking had been inflated. This hotel, however, truly lives up to its rating — and even exceeds it. I would highly recommend it.

Everything was perfect. The host is very kind and helpful, the accommodation is beautiful and clean, the location is great, it's just a short walk to the medina. I absolutely loved the whole stay. And the breakfast was simply delicious 😋

This place is an absolute gem! If you're looking for a comfy stay in a modern apartment with a traditional touch, this is the place to be. Staff welcome you in the warmest manner, the video they send before check in, super helpful to find the place. In my experience, this has been the only time such service was provided, and Tanger was the end of my trip. Totally recommended!

Very kind and helpful hosts. Helped with everything, including transport and directions. Great location, only about 5 mins walk from centre. House in immaculate condition with cooking facilities and outdoor sitting area for chilling or eating. Would definitely recommend.
