We last stayed here about 5 years ago, and it was not good at all...in fact we made the decision not to go back. So, we were going to Christmas shop in Panama City and read that the Bristol had new management...so, we booked 4 nights....and everything was perfect. The new management are doing an excellent job...and we will stay there again. Top marks to Bristol for great accommodation, great service, excellent food and a very good location...what is not to like!

Room was very spacious and clean, the place was in a nice neighbourhood with everything I needed close by. The breakfast was quite good too, I enjoyed it. Also I used their laundry facilities which worked well (however, I had to buy my own detergent and pay for the laundry facilities with quarter coins which was inconvenient). Overall very very happy

Loved it. Booked a double room but got upgraded to a suite. It was clean, confortable, good food in a restaurant, wonderful pool area and close to a metro and supermarket. Would stay here again!

We loved this hotel during our stay in Panama. It is clean, comfy, and has great facilities. But the real reason why you should stay here is the staff. Everyone at this hotel is top-class, warm, kind, and attentive. We just had a great experience :).

The staff were friendly and welcoming and very patient (I left my key card in the room, obtained a spare, returned it to find that the original no longer worked) The room was basic but big, just what you need, the bed was large and comfortable, they have a pool upstairs and a social area, as well as a restaurant on site. I didn't venture far in the evenings but walked to some great restaurants and a small super nearby, the hotel is in the financial district so I felt safe. I highly recommend El Trapiche for some local food For breakfast I would recommend arriving a bit later than 630 as it wasn't always ready and the only thing I missed was a cuppa, they had various teas but no black tea and us Brits like our cuppas
