From the outside it might appear a bit anonymous. However, once you enter a beautiful Japanese atmosphere and top notch service from the staff meets you throughout the stay. I had the choice to pick between Hilton and Marriott - but Okura with it’s authenticity outmaneuveres them both.

I rarely give excellent rating but this new hostel exceeds my expectation. The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. Arrived at 4 am for an early check in and the process is a breeze. Secondly, the bed! I don't expect much in a capsule and sharing hostel, but oh boy! the bed is a piece of luxury. Minimalist environment, with all the basic amenities, hot shower, clean toilets and common area. The place is an oasis in the middle of the city, plus it is walking distance to all nearby restaurants and mall in Pasay. Would definitely stay here again when in Manila.

We stayed 2 nights there and it was great! The hotel is beautiful, you have different terasses, one common kitchen,
The rooms are cosy, comfortable and clean, with good AC.
Breakfast (supplement) is very good and served on the terasse in the morning.
We could do early check-in (supplement to pay) because we arrived at 7am, and we could let our backpacks in a safe place the last day, before leaving for our next destination.
The staff is amazingly nice and helpful. They really care about their hosts and do everything so you feel at ease.
The area around is very popular, so do not hesitate to take a Grab at night or the metro (during the day), but the place is closed with a guardian at the entrance and a barrier, so no problem :)
