Beautiful resort, friendly staff. Lovely to be able to walk outside and straight into the sea to swim and snorkel. Restaurant had a wide variety of meals to cater for kids and adults. Really good value for money. Would definitely stay again.

This small cozy hostel recently opened and it is run by an amazing Spanish-Thai group of friends. It still misses some commodities, but really felt like home. All staff was very friendly and welcoming. Really a nice vibe! We booked the private room with separate beds, it was way better in reality than it looked in the pictures. Everything very clean and quiet.

It is a small hostel with only 20-25 beds, making it very personal to get to know each other. Every night there is an activity (optional of course), otherwise anyone can also chill in the common area - with pool, a foosballtable, a TV and a lot of sitting areas (couches, beanbags, etc). The beds are very comfortable, with airco running almost all the time in the rooms. The showers are large and you can loan a towel for a deposit only. The staff is extremely nice, fun and helpful with anything at any time! If I come back to Ko Tao, I will book at Wonderland again!

Koh Tao is a hectic town, not a place to look for peace and quiet. Thankfully, Freedom Beach resort is located in a very quiet area with a private beach. If it wasn't for this resort, we would have left the island on the same day. The room was amazing, the grounds beautiful, the beach kept clean and the breakfast was well stocked with Thai, western breakfast and fresh fruits. The only reason i would come back to Koh Tao is to stay at tgis resort. We are retired and of age to get high or drunk every night.

The property is very large, with many options of spaces to relax/work in. Super clean, nice bathrooms and friendly staff. The resort operates a complimentary beach and sunset/activity shuttle each day which was a great way to see the island and meet new people. Best hostel I have stayed at in Thailand!

The hotel staff was very nice! The restaurant is really good! The views are amazing and the vibe from the place is so chill and relaxing. We did our first scuba dive with george and we love it! He is the best!
