The locker room to keep our bags and backpacks safely (with our own passcodes) before checking in or after checking out (had to catch a red eye flight), giving us the benefit of enjoying Taipei hands free. Hotel has a brand new feel. Polite and cheerful staff. The Taiwanese are always willing to help.

This makes a fantastic budget base in Taipei. Located right in the popular Ximending tourist area, close to the metro, there are tons of shops and restaurants around. There's a convenient 7-Eleven across the street for any snacking needs. The bunk beds were comfortable, with curtains for privacy, and there was a good amount of storage space. The dorms were quiet and peaceful. The staff was polite and despite their limited English we were able to communicate. There is a small kitchen for basic food needs and the cafe area on the main floor is quaint. I didn't meet anyone during my stay and it's not a hotel conducive for that, but that wasn't my intention on this trip. Given the price and location, this is a good choice and I would return.

Our room is big for a family of 5. I especially like the fresh smell of linen. They cleaned our room every day and refill the complimentary water stocked in our fridge as well as the complimentary tea and the toiletries.
