Full marks to the Henry Norman for wonderfully friendly and helpful front desk. Check-in and check-out were a positive pleasure. Lots of good advice about the neighbourhood We stayed in a big family loft-style room which was partitioned into a sleeping space and a living-space with sofa-bed. Given that we were there for five nights, we were delighted to find that the kitchen had everything we might want — toaster, coffee-maker, fridge, oven, plenty of crockery and cutlery etc. Good fast internet. Quiet street. Arty but relaxed decor. I hope to stay again.

The facilities were very clean, rooms, bathrooms, everything. You need to go up some stairs to cross the bridge in get to the subway station by walk, but it's totally doable (about 12 min walk). The Vernon Station is well connected with everything in just a couple of minutes. The staff were friendly and helpful. They lent me an iPhone charger. Kadidja was great.

We stayed at The William Vale as it was close to family. It was close to all restaurants, cafes etc. Very easy, hand location. The room was as published and the view interesting (although to cold for us to spend time on the balcony).

A great location with only a short walk to the Greenpoint subway station. Near the station are several grocery stores that were handy since we prepared our own breakfasts in our room. There are also a number of excellent cafes nearby.

The location in a prestigious classy building was a very pleasant surprise. The view from the bar at the top floor is stunning. Having a supermarket in the basement is extremely convenient. The location cannot be better than this if you want to visit Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The Quin Central Park by Hilton Club is located in Midtown within walking distance of Manhattan’s Central Park and just 50 metres from the West 57th Street Subway station.

As someone who travels frequently around the world, I can confidently say that this was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. We spent 7 days here, and every aspect of our stay was exceptional. Small and welcoming hotel, perfectly located near Times Square. Warm atmosphere and friendly staff (which you can’t get in the usual big franchised hotels). The family suite was perfect for 2 adults and 3 teenagers with a lovely private terrace and 2 separate bedrooms with Queen beds. Lots of cool restaurants close to the hotel.
