If you want to stay in the heart of Hanoi, Hotel de Souriant is the perfect choice. The hotel is clean, the beds and pillows are as comfortable as the ones at home, and the sheets, pillowcases, and towels are changed daily—always crisp, fresh, and spotless. The room sizes are just right—not overly large, but ideal for a city getaway. The staff is incredibly helpful and genuinely friendly, something you don’t come across often. Breakfast offers everything you could ask for, from traditional Vietnamese dishes to Western favorites, catering to all tastes and habits. We had dinner twice at the Sky Bar (the Pho and noodles were amazing—highly recommended!). The Sky Bar is also a fantastic spot to unwind in the evening. If you enjoy massages, I highly recommend trying the ones offered at the hotel—both the full-body and foot massage are unbelievably good!

The room was to our liking and matched the photos on the booking. It was spacious, clean and the private terrace overlooking the busy street made all our evenings richer. But what is important to highlight is that we have never seen nicer, more helpful and wonderful people at the reception. Specially Kelly acts like a family friend and treats you like her own.
