Absolutely great accommodation, when we arrived were beautiful warmth in the tiled stove👍 There is a stream running around which is great for a morning hardening up. 300 meters down there is a pub connected to a butcher shop, great beer and ribs. The owners are very friendly with lots of good advice on hiking routes. We were so happy we stayed longer. Really excellent.

Place was very clean, facilities were new. Staff was very nice and friendly. There also was a private beach which was a nice surprise. The view from the window is amazing and you can reach town centre, grocery store, restaurants by foot.

Gmundnerberghaus is amazing! We were breathtaken by our first glimpse of Traunsee from the property—it was like something out of a dream. Even though there was no staff on-site, the self-check-in and key pick-up were smooth. (At first, the quiet, empty hotel and peaceful surroundings gave us a bit of a thrill after our long drive!) The free minibar was a great touch, especially when no stores or restaurants were nearby. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options, all beautifully arranged. I only wish I could have stayed longer.
