I stayed here recently and absolutely loved it. The hotel is beautiful and really well thought out - relaxing, stylish, and welcoming. The beach club is stunning, and the rooftop pool became our favourite spot - amazing cocktails! Our room had a private sauna and a chromotherapy shower, which felt like such a treat. But the highlight for me was the bathing experience. It was unlike anything I’ve tried before - four unique pools that felt peaceful and almost magical. It was one of the most relaxing spa experiences I’ve had. Also, breakfast on the 11th-floor terrace was amazing - delicious food with panoramic views that made the morning feel special. Would definitely come back.

Great location, fabulous view from the roof, half of the island can be seen, even Sicily in traces. Breakfast was a great selection with a loads of local foods. Personell very kind and polite. Price was also good. Just as like wellness. Our room was big, and comfortable.

Our first Barcelo Hotel was in the Dominican Republic many years ago. Since that Barcelo is our favourite hotels. All services in Barcelo are the highest. And this Barcelo Fortina Malta isn't exceptional. Two amazing nights with perfect sea views from our terrace. Wonderful SPA and indoor pool. It was a relaxing and calming rest. We appreciate all the staff for their hospitality.

Really exceptional hotel, service at the highest level. Pauline and Shivam at the reception, Nevaan in the restaurant, they are truly outstanding people and professionals. Clean, tidy, and in a great location. All compliments.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Available with useful information about navigating the island. The rooftop pool and bar area was very nicely kept and had super views of the surrounding area.

Hotel is a good value for the location. Get the Opal Lounge is worth it when you book if you plan on hanging out at the hotel for sure. Pre-Dinner or Pre-Game drinks and snacks are legit. The staff in the Opal lounge are fantastic and made the stay even better. The pool was great and the room was cold enough to hang meat, great for after a day in the summer Malta sun.

I stayed in this hotel for almost a week and can only recommend it. The hotel just opened, everything is brand new. I was upgraded to a double room on a high floor, very spacious, clean and comfortable. The area is noisy because of the many bars around but the room was very quiet The staff is extremely nice and polite, they make you feel very welcome. The breakfast is wonderful, food is tasty and varied. The pool was not open yet so I used the one at the Intercontinental hotel next door. They are connected through a bridge, which is very convenient. Many thanks to the staff for such a wonderful stay.
