The stylish Ruths Hotel is located on the beachfront, 5 km from Skagen town centre. It offers free spa access, free parking and rooms with flat-screen TVs, luxury beds by Dux and free Wi-Fi. Room was large, tastefully decorated with cute little balcony overlooking some of the roofs of old Skagen. Breakfast was excellent - good selection of a la carte items along with a delicious buffet and freshly baked breads and pastries. Their omelette was cooked to perfection. Lounge area by reception was a perfect 'hyggelig" area for guests to relax with a drink, read, play cards or chess. Had delicious Moules Frites for dinner in their vibrant Brasserie restaurant. Would definitely come back to this hotel.

This luxury hotel is set in an elegant, Neoclassical building built in 1838. It offers a casino. ARoS Art Museum is 15 minutes’ walk away. Great central place and easy to get around on foot. Loved the attention to detail with furnishings, paintings etc. Lovely jazz playing in the foyer continuously, capacity to leave the key (very large) with the concierge so it could be retrieved later. The staff were really helpful, and friendly. Old fashioned service - I was sitting waiting for work colleagues and one staff member offered to make me a cup of tea while I waited. I really appreciated the attention to detail and care.

Impressive architecture on a large area, with an interesting history. The interior and decor is however modern with a typical scandi touch. One could anticipate that a hotel of this size and profile (conferences etc) would have a"cold" atmosphere. But the staff is very friendly and informel in the right way. Everyone is smiling an says "God morgen". The food is excellent, and the waiters as well. We would especially like to mention Sara, perfect service with a smile :-) The Spa was visited twice a day, we used the pool, not the other facilities that much. Big pluss with long opening hours.
