Five-Star Hotels in Aswan Governorate

The location of the hotel is amazing. An elite hotel on the banks of the Nile. The view from our room was wonderful. It was wonderful to watch the felucas at sunset from the balcony of our room. Additionally, the food at the hotel restaurant was also extremely delicious. It is a 3 star hotel, but according to Egyptian standards, I think this hotel deserves 5 stars. I would recommend it to everyone.

Aswan surprised us for good - and so did this amazing hotel. It's clear that it was a very luxurious hotel once upon a time, and it still has all of the outstanding service and guest-oriented attitude. The hotel has everything you need, from a restaurant to a small shopping area. You have ATM machines right in the lobby, and the big swimming pool constitutes an amazing view. I will definitely go back here.

Everything! The location, the lovely exterior and interior design with so much attention to detail, the crazily welcoming and supportive staff was just out of this world - also compared to all the other places we stayed at in Egypt, including five star hotels. We especially loved the many peaceful outdoor gathering places to relax, chill out, read, talk or have a tea :). Everything was super clean, and the breakfast with a view was a selection of the finest local food. Hatem in particular made a huge effort to make us feel like at home.

Very good views, quiet area, 5 stars staff

I have stayed at many 5 star hotels around the world, Maldives, Caribia, Dubai etc. but Old Cataract beats them all. Wow, what a hotel. Location. Atmosphere. Staff. They got it all. Thank you ❤️.

Originally we just randomly chooses this place in Aswan for a short stay in order to visit Abu Simbel the next day, but the staff at the hotel made this hotel worth five stars. Location is not so easy to find, but they have a beautiful view of the Nile and the room was clean, AC works fine. A special thanks to Hares for helping us a lot, we did enjoy the boat ride and lunch, our short stay in Aswan was very satisfying.

It was great, could not fault it. Authentic Nubian house. Food very good, both for lunch and dinner - authentic and tasty. Close to a marina for a boat trip on Nasser lake. No need to spend silly money on a 5 star property.

This hotel is a jewel. Beautiful paintings, sense of detail, quiet and clean room, splendid terrace (i stayed hours gazing on it), and most of all, lovely staff. Saïda, the manager, is exceptionnal ; worth a 5 stars prestation. Elephantine Island is nice to wander around Aswan. But to chill and gaze, Nubian village is way beyond in my opinion. I could seriously consider to spend an entire week in it, with a proper fruit shop !
