That's a really nice place to stay, yes it's a little bit out of the center, but there is also a lot of things to explore around. To use the gym for free and to have 3 different toilets available is just great, for this price... The owner is also very friendly, he always tryed to help me, we went to the restaurant together and he even asked if I want to go on a mountain with him for one day ☺️

Wonderful stay in Safari tents at Shivapuri Heights. Staff & owners esp. Ramita could not have been nicer and very welcoming. Great place to relax abd look over the city, explore Budhanilkantha. Food was great every day! Would happily come back and recommend to friends.

A "gem" amidsts the mountains. At sunrise, we were lucky enough to see the Himalayas from the roof, as well as from the teracce during the breakfast. The food was fresh and delicious, and some of the vegetables were from the hotel's garden. We enjoyed a wonderful hike all day long with Shankar and saw tiny Nepalese villages, vivid yellow mustard flowers, and orange trees while picking up some oranges. Before sunset, we crossed the river and came to Shiva's Trishul. The staff was very kind and friendly. We felt like at home. The property has a great location and exceeded our expectations! They had warm bathrobes and hot water in a bathroom.

The view for one. You can spend a whole day satisfied just looking at the veiw from the resort. You have your own outside area with table provided and a terrace area slightly higher up where you can socialise. Alongside that is the fantastic plane seating area, which really is a nice touch, you can watch the planes go by daily. We took up the offer of a walk with the owner Raju higher up the mountains where you can find many temples, a 360 bar with a stunning sunset veiw and an even higher point to watch the twinkling lights of Kathmandu. Clean comfy bed with daily cleaning services if wanted. The room has a fan for the hotter period, and the room itself is ample sized. Value for money shined through its service. You can call for food, have it to your room or out on the terrace - the food is delicious, with a mix of authentic Nepali food and some European. The hotel can supply you with a taxi driver, which is needed to get to and from the mountain. There is plenty to do in Nepal, but we still felt quite content staying solely at the hotel and ended up extending our stay for a further 3 days, we didn't want to leave. Despite being out the way, menu prices were reasonable, and can even buy cigarettes or shisha! Another option is a bbq, which if a group of friends stayed here together you can do this! Perfect for couples, solo travelers and especially family groups. You can have your seperate huts but still be in the same community. We joined some locals staying there having a bbq and was such a friendly environment. We're greatful to all the people that made our stay so fantastic and cared. We felt very lucky to come across this place and meet the people we did.
