Guests will have a special experience as this tent provides a fireplace. Askiesbos was one of the best places we stayed on our 3-week trip to Botswana. We stayed in one of the river tents with the outdoor bathroom and everything was very clean, with convenient places to put your things, like soap and toiletries. The common areas are comfy, with tea and coffee and filtered/purified water available on-tap. The view over the pan-handle papyrus whilst sat on a sofa was brilliant. We spotted a handful of birds just from there! Our excursions were booked ahead of time and were not only value for money but were brilliant. If you are interested in birds, ask for Lucky as your guide. We saw over 60-bird species in just two days spent with him (panhandle tour and Tsodilo hills walk). The accommodation is a little out of the way, but fully accessible from the main road and we were able to organise a pick-up from the bus stop also. Overall, fantastic stay - highly recommend.

Close to maun but yet you still feel like you in the true wilderness. The camp has a home feel and everyone is very welcoming and friendly. It is very spacious and comfortable, and the outside shower is really cool. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. We would 100% stay there again.
