Perfect relaxation after a game drive - a swim in the infinity pool , looking at crocs, hippo and elephants in the stretch of river below . So easy to get to on a quiet tarmaced road from Malindi , no crazy Nairobi road !!! Wonderful to have game drives along the river with knowledgable guides. Staff are super friendly and helpful , nothing too much trouble .

Guests will have a special experience as this tent features a pool with a view. This eco rretreat has a wonderful location, and the manager Jacob is super helpful as I arrived unannounced to meet up with a sailing crew, and he helped with all our anchoring needs, kept our food in the fridge overnight, and so many other things. The food is great, tell them in advance you will be eating there. The tented rooms are comfortable and so peaceful. There are 2 family cottages, but I didnt see inside of those. It is lovely to stay in the forest, but beware monkey troupes which can overrun the camp at any time. the pool is huge and awesome to cool off

This spacious tent has a large patio facing the Sante River. It includes 4-poster beds with mosquito nets and large, netted windows. Enchanted location. Crocs and hippo feet away during dinner. Walking safari and night game drives were fantastic.

We loved staying in the tent hut, showering under the trees and cooking and eating outside. The setting is so beautiful, surrounded by nature, and the beach and the sea are incredible. We spent four days over Christmas at the nature camp - it is so peaceful, truly in nature, surrounded by trees and the houses with palm roofs - all built by Harrison and team! We were only a few mins on foot to Mida Creek where we could see flamingoes every day. We ate there several times and the food was really great. We loved going to the creek at sunset with Daniel and Jonathon in a dug out canoe, we learnt so much about mangroves and it was possibly one of the most beautiful, peaceful places we've ever been. We also were treated to a Giriama dance on Christmas eve which was so amazing. The kids were so talented and put our dancing to shame when we got up to join! The best bit however is the team. Harrison is so welcoming and really takes care of his guests, and has a lovely family. Philip is so so kind and friendly, and a great driver! Recommend to future guests to bring power banks and also that there's a local shop 5 mins away for water and snacks for those that need.

Το Distant Relatives Ecolodge and Backpackers βρίσκεται στο Kilifi Creek, μόλις 3χλμ. έξω από την πόλη και περιβάλλεται από ένα κοινοτικό δάσος. amazing pool and accommodation, very chilled out staff. it was a struggle to leave! 5 mins walk to the beach (to see the luminescent plankton) and easy to get into town. Good Wi-Fi.
