It’s difficult to describe how wonderful , almost unreal is this place. In the middle of spectacular nature, but with all what you need to feel comfortable. The sounds of the nature around the property, the kindness of the owners, the delicious real time cooking dinner and breakfast, based on local ingredients, the sunset on my balcony , no mosquitoes at all. I’ll never forget this incredible piece of paradise. Recommended for families but also for romantic couples.

The tent includes a shared bathroom fitted with a shower. The tent has garden views. The unit has 2 futons. Sam is a perfect host, who really cares. He made us feel welcome, helped with renting bicycles and even did a very nice bicycle tour with us. The location is perfect if you want to see the sacred city (15 minutes walk away) and feel like being in nature. It is also a very good starting point to do a bicycle tour to Mihintale (which was a great experience!) From the nice rooftop terrace you can see the sunset over the stupas. I loved the location and being surrounded by nature, the family is so lovely and friendly and they cooked amazing food. They were also very helpful organising tours and activities. They give great advice on other places in Sri Lanka, very knowledgeable. They also have volunteering opportunities at local schools for cheaper accommodation

This tent has a view. It has separate washing and showering area without hot water facility. It's a hidden gem inside the jungle in Habarana/Sigiriya area. Even though a little gloomy and showing their age the rooms are spacious and well appointed. The furniture is made of solid wood. The bathroom is large and well equipped. The guests should park their vehicles at the car park near the gate from where they are taken in electric carts. The food served at the restaurant is delicious. There are enough walking pathways inside the hotel land as well as outside in the villages. However, don't venture out early in the morning and the evening especially alone since there can be an occasional elephant in the vicinity.
