He made us feel welcome, helped with renting bicycles and even did a very nice bicycle tour with us. The location is perfect if you want to see the sacred city (15 minutes walk away) and feel like being in nature. It is also a very good starting point to do a bicycle tour to Mihintale (which was a great experience!) From the nice rooftop terrace you can see the sunset over the stupas. Además es un hostal con capacidad máxima para 4 personas, lo cual lo hace bastante privado y cómodo. En mi experiencia, éramos todos backpackers de distintos lugares del mundo.

The unit offers 2 futons. Kandy Eco Retreat está en Kandy, a 2,3 km de Estación de tren de Kandy, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. The owner was so nice and took care of everything I wanted, the space is very relaxing in the nature but still close to the main city I love this place, 100% will come back, very recommend!!! 🤗

Piya the owner and Sucheera were wonderful hosts. I had two tuk tuk tours with Piya who even climbed up Pidurangala rock with me and arranged for me to see an ayurvedic doctor. I had the best meal, fish curry and an assortment of vegetable curry made by Piya's wife. I was very sad to leave, a peaceful retreat and would highly recommend for a peaceful unforgettable stay!

The staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to assist our elderly parents, which we deeply appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious, and the family cottage was spotlessly clean, cosy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed the experience — highly recommended!
